Silver scrap

Silver ingots
Fine silver ingots
Fine silver ingots can be purchased in every quantity or subdivision because they do not have to be further reprocessed.
Blanks – Targets – Pressed silver

Silver targets, Banks
In contrast to other precious metals a minimum quantity has to be delivered in the case of silver scrap.
If possible it should not amount to less than 10 kg so that orders can be carried out economically.
Silver scrap

Pressed silver
Please study these notes carefully.
Silver can also be submitted without minimum quantity, e.g. as jewellery silver, in connection with other precious metals like jewellery gold or dental gold.
With cutlery silver, however, the following general restriction always applies:
All submitted cutlery silver contents have to exhibit a visible stamp of 800 or 900 or 925. We cannot accept cutlery silver without such a stamp. It is not possible to test individual unstamped pieces of cutlery prior to the premelt, because this would be too time-consuming. Note: Stamps of 90, 100, 110, 120, are only silver plating and are not accepted because reprocessing costs would end up higher than the actual yield. Blades and filler sand in the handles as well as thermoplastic blade mountings have to be removed.
Minimum acceptable weights of silver scrap:
Electrolytic silver / pressed silver: 10 Kg
Blanks, targets 10 Kg
Silver salts min. 20 Kg
Jewellery scrap from production 10 Kg
Cutlery silver solo, 800-925 5kg
Jewellery scrap

Jewellery scrap
The same applies to industrial silver scrap from jewellery production.
As far as possible the delivered weight should not amount to less than 10 kg.
Silver salts

Silver salts
Silver salts, too, can only be economically reprocessed in greater quantities of at least about 25 kg.
